I am just a girl in her 30s doing normal 30-year-old things, doing those things in NYC, and doing it all while being chronically ill. I have a career in healthcare working full-time in hospital operations management, where I can be an advocate for the cancer patients I meet each day.

I have been sick since birth with Blau Syndrome, an aggressive autoimmune disease that just does it’s thing. It’s always been important to me to continue to live my life in a way that makes me fulfilled and proud, and I look at my circumstance as a motivating factor to stay focused on the things that I am passionate about.

I have lived in New York my entire life, grew up by the beach, have the best dog named Bubba, and play the drums.
